Assistant Coach Michael Cox

  Michael Cox, in his first year at Alpharetta High School, coaches defensive backs and also serves as the freshman defensive coordinator. In high school, Cox played for Coach Devine in 2008 at Hickory Grove in Charlotte, NC. In his senior year, he led the conference in receiving touchdowns. His interest in football continued as he worked in the recruiting department for Liberty University football from 2009 and 2010. His coaching career began in 2010 as he reunited with Coach Devine as a wide receivers coach for two years at Westminster Catawba in Rock Hill, SC. In 2012, Coach Cox coached defensive backs and also served as the JV defensive coordinator at Central Academy in Monroe, NC. In 2013, he served as the wide receivers coach as well as the offensive coordinator for Hickory Grove in Charlotte, NC. Coach Cox is originally from Charlotte, NC and currently lives in Sandy Springs, GA.
